I have been in manufacturing my entire working life and always drooled at the prospect of climbing into one of those tool trucks one day and getting a set of my very own. But for me it’s less about where the tools are made and all about how they’re made. I agree that Williams, Bahco, Porto and SK are high quality tools and I will gladly pay more for something made in the US as well. I have tools from just about everyone except Grey and Genius, and have yet to find a truly bad tool just based on how I buy and look at stuff) That's been changed to their new low profile 90 tooth with the switch the right way. They used to sell the same 72 tooth Taiwan ratchet as everyone else with the wrong way selector switch. In my mind, they've been doing it the right way. They now have tool boxes that are Canadian made.

The fact that they've been starting to use more USA made stuff swung me further to their camp. It's a high enough quality tool at an affordable price. I absolutely recommend them a lot, but that's because in my mind, Tekton is the 70s Craftsman. Tekton I'm not sure about, because the company isn't big enough to pay shills.
